Woodborough Social Club

has been open since Oct 1953 and  this club was built by and for the people of Woodborough and surrounding villages as a place to meet and socialize.

The Club belongs to its members and all profits go back into the Club.  Thus, directly benefitting those that use it. Anybody is welcome to use the club, including non-members. However, membership is a mere £8 per year.

 In recent years we have sadly had less and less people from the local area joining. Some saying they did not know we were here.  We are trying to get the Club on the map again needing you to come along with ideas, suggestions and enthusiasm to keep the Club that was built for you, alive and well and the hub of the local community! A place for people of all ages to continue to meet and be part of their local community.

The Social Club is an asset to many strands of the local community  including the local school which uses the car park for parents to park so not blocking the main road. We also support nine local organizations including a group for adults that have a learning disability, local interest groups, the WI and many more.
